N1421   Armstrong Whitley

This page is dedicated to Leading Aircraftsman John Ellwood of N1421, an Armstrong Whitley shot down near Brennenga, Sylling, Norway on the 30. April 1940 during an attack on Furnebo.

It specifically depicts the memorial to John who was hit by flak and died before the crash.
